Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services

Ad-hoc Services: Includes web development, administrative tasks, and computer consulting (on-site or remote). Work is performed as directed by the Client and billed by time and materials.
Maintenance Plans: Includes plugin updates, backups, security checks, and third-party license management. These are recurring services billed monthly, quarterly, or annually.

2. Payment Terms

Standard Invoicing: Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.
On-Site Services: Payment for on-site consulting is due immediately upon completion of the visit.
Late Payments: Work may be suspended if invoices remain unpaid past the due date.

3. Maintenance Cancellations & Refunds

Notice Period: A 30-day written notice is required to cancel any website maintenance plan. This allows for the offboarding of security licenses and the cessation of automated tasks.
Refund Policy (Quarterly/Annual): If a client cancels a pre-paid plan, a prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of the term, minus the 30-day notice period.
Monthly Plans: No refunds are issued for monthly maintenance cycles already billed; service will terminate at the end of the 30-day notice period.

4. Client Responsibilities & Liability

Access: The Client agrees to provide necessary access to hosting, domain registrars, and CMS dashboards to perform requested work.
Third-Party Fees: For maintenance plans, the Provider pays certain fees on the Client’s behalf. Upon cancellation, the Client is responsible for procuring their own licenses to maintain site functionality.
Warranties: While work is performed to professional standards, the Provider does not guarantee that website functions will be uninterrupted or error-free given the evolving nature of web technologies and third-party software.
DATA COLLECTION: Messaging forms on this web site are for clients only. Use of my web forms for marketing solicitations is forbidden.
This website is applicable to and should only be used by persons 18 years of age or older. Access and use of this website by persons under the age of 18 is prohibited.

5. Acceptance of Terms

Engagement of services, payment of an invoice, or providing a "go-ahead" via email constitutes acceptance of these terms.

6. Copyright

The copyright in all material provided on this site ("Site") is held by My Computer Angel or by the original creator of the material as of January 2007.
